Track lights have come a long way. I wanted to brighten up my man cave so it looked less than a cave. This fit the bill. Stylish and you can easily use a variety of wattages.

I wanted something to replace the "spot light" heads on a track lighting system. I purchased these because they are short - they do not hang low, and therefore fit in a space more like a ceiling light would (vs over a counter or island). I purchased shades at Lowe's - you will need to use some sort of shade or globe to not have a bare lightbulb hanging there - and appliance watt bulbs. I now use the light all the time and have received many compliments on its uniqueness.
