Ok this is a little power horse of a filter. I have been struggling with my feeder snail tank- daily water changes weren’t doing it anymore- I put this filter on the tank the day I received it at 7:45 pm. By 8:30 am the next day the water was nearly clear. My only star deduction is due to the mechanism stalling some. I have to take out the water feeder portion and tap the spinning wheel to get it going again- now could this be due to a snail getting in the spinning part and stopping it- totally, but for the cost and the results I am already seeing I would most definitely buy another.

Ideal for 5-10 gallon aquariums. I am using it on a 5 gallon cube.It is very quiet, the media bay is spacious for the size and easy to customize, and the water flow is adjustable.It also comes with a long intake valve for good water movement throughout the aquarium.It isn't the cheapest for aquariums this size, but it is a great filter.

I’ve bought 6 of these filters so far this summer in hopes that one of them will last more than a month because they do such a good job at filtering my goldfish tank but I’ve had no luck with any of them. I’ll be switching brands. Save your money. This filter won’t last. The motor burns out way too easily.

I've has this for two years on a 10 gal guppy female tank. I use it on a low setting, puts out a good amount of water. Put your own stuff in it, its a large filter for a 10 gal. If it stops working, take off the pump and play with the fan for a sec and it will work again. Id buy it again.

If you have the space for an outside filter that is tall, this is great. I really like the flow adjustment and yes, it filters really nicely.
