Prongs bent the first time I tried to use the spear. I would not recomment buying this.

The only thing I can say about this item is that the tangs could have been welded better to ensure the tangs would not break free from the mount with repeated use. Otherwise it should do the job.

We are a 501-c3 that does river cleanups. We use these for spearing cans on the bottom of the river. They are pretty much the only thing that work for that purpose for us. We have tried many brands and these are the best we have found and they are sturdy and do not break. They are a reasonable price, too. They will bend sometimes but they easily regain their shape with just a bit of effort and some pliers. We recommend these for heavy duty spearing.

The product is well made and looks to be able to last a long time.

You get what you pay for with this spear head. Two trips and the thing is bent after every flounder I spear wouldn’t be surprised if one of the prongs breaks off soon. Also the black paint chips off very easily and as soon as that happens it rusts very fast. I doubt you want rust in your fish. I plan on buying a nicer spear head made from stainless steel. If you’re only going to be in very sandy areas and not near any oyster beds this spear head may work out for you but if not don’t waste your money.

Didn't work for snakes as I tried? But great for froging! Has to be sharper for snakes!

Looks and feels pretty solid - this will work great and it is very strong including prongs- no problems to add a peace of dry wood (this spear will hurt-damage or kill). packing-shipping delivery great service..CHEERS

If you're going to be hitting the ground with this thing the prongs will break off. Basically a one-time use item. We took two out and had a good time but each of us broke off a prong.

Very nice. Came with all prongs start and sharp. Fastened it to a 69¢ wooden pole I got from Home Depot. Works great and cheap. I recommend this

I liked this. The head bent pretty quickly, and the tines don't last long. For how cheap it is not a bad deal.
