It represents the connecting point between you and your angling dreams, whether sitting on lawn chairs catching trout with friends and family or competing at the highest level in the sport. Since 1925, in Denver, Colorado, the men and women of Eagle Claw have been privileged to ensure that connection.

Just purchased and first time using it this weekend the top broke and my fish escaped. Would not purchase this product again.

Just thought it should be communicated that this item must be pretty old stock because although it was in factory clear plastic wrapping it was very dusty inside with spiderwebs in it and like white paint spots on the black floating lid. The spots came off and I cleaned off the spider webs. Only reason I mention this is if this is an old item it may not last as long as a new one.

The basket worked fine after I realigned the and reattached the wire holders that hold the float squarely onto the basket. It has happened before with this particular model. I may look to another brand if/when I need another basket.

That it floats, it's close by the boat. And it's easy to put your fish in one-handed.

My dad had these when I was a kid, I use this one for a live well for my bait fish. I had to buy a larger one for the fish I catch because the blue fish eat even in captivity of a basket. My old basket finally rusted out and this is my replacement one. It was the bottom ring that holds the wire together that rusted and I tossed it in the trash after we drove away I thought I could have fixed that but it was to late.

I fish on a 10 foot inflated pontoon boat which has no floor and is prone to leaks when the dorsal fins of my catch puncture the pontoon skin and bladder when the fish are hung over the sides on a stringer. Therefore, I purchased this fish basket as well as a larger version and suspend it between the two pontoons in front of me, which solved my problem of leaks. I only use one at a time depending upon what I am fishing for on the fishing trip.
