I've since learned that these gate operators are known to have control board issues and malfunction, and that the company does not have a solution for it. Will be changing it out for a different brand.

Not happy with the product wend I open the box there miss of remote control I contact Amazon they not available to help contact the seller never heard from them now the product not work properly sometimes open and closed other time I have to open and closed by my self totally no recommend

I did my research and choose this Viking Gate Opener. I installed the 1 hp because my gate is 27’ long and heavy. Works perfect.01/09/24. This is an update on this review. This gate opener has worked perfectly. There has not been a day with any problems. This gate opener does not hesitate one bit. I have a 27’ gate that is heavy and even on windy days the gate opener works very smooth. I have added a total of 4 remotes… I am very happy with it.

I was using for like Two Months and one day I just opened and when I tried to close it doesn’t work anymore, and Now i have like a month doing manually 🙄😡
