Received glove on 2/24/24, while oiling glove on 2/25/24 started noticing that the lacing on the glove is dry rotted, cracking, brittle, and breaking off. I haven't even begun using it to catch yet, hopefully I can get in touch with the seller and get a replacement or my money back.

This glove is great. It would sell more if it was 175 dollars

This thing seems like it'll be very durable. It does take a long time to break in though. But I'm confident I'll get many many years from this glove. Ty Easton

Although I played in college, these days I'm not an avid baseball player. Every so often, I like to get together with friends for a little game of baseball...it's something we do once in a while, but unfortunately, somewhere along the way I lent my prized glove from my college days to a friend, and I haven't seen it since.I found this Easton glove to be remarkably better than anything I've ever used. The materials, fit and finish are all top-rate. As with any glove, it was stiff out of the box, but with a little conditioning and use, it's broken in nicely. My understanding is that "Kip leather" is taken from younger livestock, so it tends to be a little less dense and a little more flexible. Whatever the reason, it is definitely soft and instantly comfortable in the field.I have no doubt that I'll never need another glove - this is a wonderful quality product for the serious player. Of course, if you play a lot, you'll have preferences in terms of dimensions and so forth - but if this is the style, I'd have no reservations about recommending it to anyone at any skill level.

This precise professional style 12.75 inch glove isn't worn by any pro player I'm aware of, but a number of professionals use Easton gloves of similar design, many with personal alterations made to a standard model. This is an Easton, and Easton was bought by Rawlings last year. Rawlings seems to be keeping Easton's line separate from its own , though several pros have switched from Easton to Rawlings gloves in the last year. This is an H-trap glove made of high quality leather. It's light. The breaking-in process will be easier and quicker than with some other types of leather. It's a good-looking comfortable glove, nicely stitched, fully adjustable for your preferred wrist tightness....A fine glove. True objective distinctions between gloves at this high level are few, most are more cosmetic and preferential, but leather and build quality are the sine qua nons of a fine glove and this is made of good leather with fine stitching and build quality.

The Good:-Easy to break in-Solid construction-Perfect for outfield-Nice design-Comfortable finger holesThe Bad:-NoneThe Bottom Line:I love playing baseball and I have many gloves. I have a Rawlings Heart of the Hide infielders mitt and several Adidas pro gloves. This Easton professional collection is high quality and I would put it on par with Heart of the Hide. The leather and the construction is very good. The glove has been very easy to break in thus far. The finger holes are comfortable and didn’t really need much breaking in. The overall design of the glove looks great too. If you’re an outfielder and are looking for a 12.75”, then I would definitely recommend looking at this glove.

This is one sweet glove. Super soft feel. It’s certainly going to take a bit of time to break in. But it feels quite comfortable. The stitching and leather work is quite nice. It is made in the Philippines. Below is a little information about “Kip Leather”.Where things get a bit more premium and specialized are the Kip Leather baseball gloves. These can be found in both USA Kip Leather and Japanese Kip Leather. Kip leather is usually the most preferred leather among professional players due to the light, firm, feel and higher quality of the leather. Kip leather comes from younger cattle, which creates a lighter hide that is extremely durable and taut, while also being a little bit easier to break in when compared to USA premium steerhide gloves.Selecting Your Leather: Cowhide Leather - Heavy leather, fastest break in time, medium quality, short durability, ideal for youth players. Steerhide Leather - Heaviest leather, longest break in time, high quality, longest durability, ideal for high school and college players. Kip Leather - Lighter leather, medium break in time, higher quality, long durability, ideal for college and pro players. Japanese Kip Leather - Lightest leather, medium break in time, highest quality, long durability, ideal for elite pro players.

This Japanese KP leather Right hand throw 12.75" pro baseball glove shows its true grit. This two tone tan and black premium leather glove uses KIP leather which is essential the hide of a younger animal (calf, baby goat, etc), since the leather is younger it is also finer and softer than traditional steer hide (adult animal over the age of 2years+). Handcrafted and uses American tanned rawhide laces, and a suede microfiber wrist liner. The pinkie slot allows 2 fingers to be inserted as well. This type of glove usually has a quick break in cycle to get it to your liking. Made in the Philippines. Pretty decent value considering how high the pro premium bb glove market goes ($500+).

Beautifully crafted kip leather. Soft and supple yet holds together well. This is a solid quality catchers mitt. The finger holes are a bit tight and will take some time to work in. I knocked off a star begrudgingly only due to the fact that I own several catchers mitts. The Pro preferred Rawl8bfs brand is still my number one and the Wilson A2000 is in a dead heat with the Mizuno Pro. This is a great mitt but would be my fouth choice for a mitt in this price range.
