This is exactly what I was looking for, not too tall either! Most cowbell holders I saw at the music store had such long metal stems! These are perfect!

Solid, well-made cowbell holder, specifically for mounting on a bass drum hoop.Simple and easy to use. Drummers, my self included, like having a cowbell mounted on the bass drum hoop, such that playing it cowbell is convenient, and ergonomic, with the cowbell oriented at a height in-between the snare and rack toms.Note: The clamp that mounts on the hoop is smooth, but metal, without any pad or coating, so it may mar your hoop. If you have a nice kit, or nice wood hoops, it may slightly dent or mar the surface. I placed some black heavy-duty strips of duct tape on the portions of the clamp that touch the hoop, so the hoop is now protected.It this clamp came with metal jaws with rubber coating, I would be tempted to give it 5-stars.
