Eastwood's 2K Ceramic Chassis Black is a super-durable coating that's not only beautiful, but also tough as nails. Our proprietary formula imbeds finely ensures a high-quality 2K (2-component) 4:1 urethane base to create the ultimate, factory-correct finish. You'll need 2 quarts of Chassis Black for a full-frame vehicle.

ABOUT EASTWOOD 2K CERAMIC CHASSIS BLACK GLOSS

You asked for a tough, super-durable chassis coating, so our R&D team developed Eastwood's 2K Ceramic Chassis Black. It's a chip- and chemical-resistant coating with incredible abrasion- and UV-resistance, fast dry times and a finish that's second to none. When laid over Eastwood's 50242ZP 2K Epoxy Primer, it gives you a no-worry finish that will last and last. Withstands up to 300 degreesF. Each quart covers 50 sq. ft. in 2 coats (a full-frame vehicle requires 2 quarts).

  • Easy 4:1 mix with the activator NOT included (sold separately) ; spray with a 1.3mm or larger nozzle HVLP spray gun. For professional use only. Contains isocynates; proper respiratory protection must be used.

APPLICATION

Use on full and partial frames, floor pans/undercarriages, suspension components, off-road and race vehicles, roll cages. Eastwood 2K Ceramic Chassis Black is easily applied with your HVLP spray gun using a 1.3mm or larger nozzle. Provides complete hiding in 2 coats; allow 10 minutes between coats. Refer to product label for more complete application directions and safety information. Can be applied directly over our 50242ZP Epoxy Primer (sold separately) after 60 minutes to 5 days without scuffing.

FAQS

(Q) Can Eastwood 2K Ceramic Chassis Black be applied directly over other finishes? (A) Generally 2K Ceramic Chassis Black can be applied over most thoroughly cured finishes (finishes that cannot be indented with a thumbnail). Scuff first with 320-600-grit sandpaper and test a small area before coating the entire area. If lifting occurs, remove the lifting paint, sand the surrounding area, and seal the surface by priming first with 50242ZP Epoxy Primer mixed with 50243ZP Epoxy Primer Catalyst. NOTE: Eastwood Epoxy Primer can be reduced up to 20% with 50104ZP Universal Zero-VOC Urethane Reducer to use strictly as a sealer.

Applied over Eastwood’s epoxy primer. Worked great and really seems durable. Be sure to use the activator.

bought Eastwood Chassis Saver paint. Waited a week for order to arrive and guess what happened ....... only paint comes, no activator just a one paint can with no activator. Ad clearly stated "activator included". so, where is the activator. I call Eastwood, they point to Amazon, this out of there hands , Amazon needs to pony up the activator. Guess what Amazon comments .... Eastewood needs to supply activator. So, spent a lot time from these two Bozos ...and neither Eastwood nor Amazon will stand behind this error. This is Zero stars rating ... bad policy form two non caring big bloated companies. Thanks for nothing.

Last time I will use their products. Last frame I did a scratch test and a chunk peeled off. Sad thing the frame was perfect. So, I pressure washed all of it off. That actually kept me from blasting them on YouTube, I may still do a review on youtube anyway.
