I initially tried to restore my son's Ninja gas tank using the vinegar method and it didn't turn out great. I decided that since Eastwood knows their business I'd give this a try. All better now!

The product didn't come with instructions, but they can be found on the company's website. All rust removed and the inside of the tank looks great.

It works great, but I also needed half a gallon of acetone and muratic acid. It does an excellent job but don't think that you are going to get the job done in a hurry, because it takes a few hours to do and once you start there is no stopping. You can't let the tank dry between steps and must finish it completely.
