Easy to use, and does what it's supposed to do. I connected this to my Chromecast Ultra since it typically runs warm and this item helps keep the heat level down

This heatsink works well, with a small fan to help. The fan isn't too loud, although you can still hear it in a very quiet room, but it does put out quite a bit of air for its size. It attaches with a set of screws, which means it is pretty easy to remove or reverse. Overall this is a great heatsink and fan, and I'd recommend it for small SBCs or other similar applications.

Simple little fan and heatsink, convenient with USB plug. I added this to the head unit in my car that tends to overheat. This helped with that. The fan is a little loud but if my car is moving or I'm playing music, then I don't hear it. Plus I can easily turn it off by unplugging the USB plug routed to my glovebox.

In my photos, I used a 40MM TEG (SP1848) for reference, which the heatsink fit flawlessly.3 washers were included for each bolt, which makes over-tightening much less of a potential issue.One thing to note - the fan comes mounted blowing air toward the heatsink. I've always found this orientation to provide better cooling myself, but traditionally fans are generally pulling air away from the heatsink.Should you want to change this, the fan is easily removed via bolts mentioned above, and repositioned in the opposite direction. I've included photos of both with a semi-accurate USB meter.Overall, I'm very satisfied with initial testing of this 40mm cooler combo, and will likely be ordering more in the near future. 5 stars.
