Your cart is empty.The new EBC Yellowstuff compound is essentially a race pad but with a big difference in that it works from cold and can be safely used on the highway. If you want the ultimate in high friction braking this is the pad to choose. Brakes feel superb from first touch of the pedal and stay effective up to race temperatures. Maximum stopping is prime requirement and for short duration track use. Its dust rating is similar to OEM parts. All pads come with edge chamfers, center line slots, noise reduction shims and OEM hardware as needed. All EBC pads feature the EBC brake in surface coating which helps pads seat quickly after install.

I had a Road Race last week and I felt good stopping power the whole race, It was an Improvement over stock pads that get sloggish after 6 laps or so, They held up very good just make sure you brake them in first.

While the EBC Yellowstuff are great pads (used them many times before),in this particular case, the parts listed here DO NOT FIT THE AE86.So yeah, lmk if you find the right ones.

im unsure if the compound has changed or we are using the brakes more now that the car is running faster laps. but one set of pads only last us 7 hours on the track. in the past when the car was 15 seconds slower per lap the we would use about half pad during the entire 14.5 hour event. the car is now lighter the calipers are new. the car in mention is a 1990 toyota corrolla and the event is the 24 hours of lemons. despite the pad life the braking is smooth and predictable.
