DOPPEL:GANGER CAMOUFLAGE

The Doppel:Ganger line of camouflage utilizes dual image technology by layering an abstract veil over a defined pattern. The consistent contour of leaves and brush is mimicked by the pattern while the veil provides a second layer. Doing so forces the eye to focus on a single dimension while the other fades out of focus, introducing excellent contrast and depth.

It is what you would expect from Ebelestock which is the best and you pay for it..I have their backpacks and other gear and the military used them also..Bottom is hard molded plastic or whatever for rough hard services and is thick but it will jack up your nice floor or table so it is to be placed on outside or non delicate surfaces like a range bag usually is. Good amount of pockets and can easily store 2 pistols, the head gear, eye glasses, lots of mags, lots of ammo and plenty of molle strap provisions to add on to it which is very nice to free up space as I added molle magazine attachments to the outside..Dividers inside to configure it any way you like which I am not a big fan of but these are padded and really secure to the insides, they are nice..Botton zips open and can fit a SBR easily inside pockets for pistols and end pockets with mag holders..I like good stuff so I spend the $ but others may be satisfied with a cheaper bag that can do good enough for less..

I love my Eberlestock bags and camping/tactical gear. High quality with lots of storage and well thought out compartments. Pricey but you pay for what you get. Their are other brands that imo are as good such as helicon Tex and vertex and some of savior gear for a little less money

Well built from quality materials. Well thought out with the hard bottom, large side pockets and plastic inserts to keep it upright. This bag is not cheap and to that end I think Eberlestock could have included some pick and pluck foam in the bottom compartment. Easily remedied but for $200 it should have already been there.

The build quality on this bag is far superior to most if not all bags out there. And is big enough to carry all your range gear and then some. A really well thought out bag.

When looking for range bags, the first thing that will catch your attention about this bag is the price -- it is expensive at $160. Most premium range bags (e.g., 5.11, Voodoo Tactical, etc.) usually run around the $100 mark. I can't say whether this one is worth the extra cost over those bags since I don't own those bags and can't compare, but I will say that the Eberlestock range bag is beautifully made using premium materials like ultra-lightweight polycarbonate, 1000 Denier Cordura nylon, and super-smooth, enlarged zippers. The configurable main compartment is a nice feature. At first, I didn't think I'd use it and considered removing the dividers (they are secured by velcro). However, since the bag came with this feature, I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. While I removed some of the side dividers, I ended up using the center divider and one of the smaller dividers to keep things in place and from rolling about the main compartment. The side compartments are tapered so that they are wider at the top than at the bottom. They are plenty large enough to hold my ear and eye protection as well as tools and ammunition. The side pockets also have built-in mag pouches and small item organizers that are very useful. The bottom zippered compartment immediately above the polycarbonate "floor" is great for holding my targets. I use large 11" x 17" EZ2C targets and they slide right in without a hitch. There is plenty of room in that compartment for other things as well.I have not used the grapple straps to secure items to the bag. My goal in buying this bag was to have a piece of equipment that would hold all of my range gear within the bag itself. I don't plan on using the straps but its nice that they are there in case I need them. They also act as added security since you can't unzip the main compartment without undoing the straps. On the matter of the polycarbonate bottom, I have to say that it is probably the single most significant feature that distinguishes this bag from the competition. It keeps the bag from sagging in the middle and protects the bag when it is placed on wet or dirty surfaces. The only negative, aside from price, is that the bag came slightly crushed due to inadequate packaging. The sides of the bag are supported by stiff, plastic liners separating the main compartment from the two side compartments. They keep the bag looking full, as shown in the pictures, whether the bag really is full of gear, or is completely empty. Unfortunately, the liners were doubled over causing the bag to look crushed. I was able to straighten them up pretty well, but for a bag costing $160, you'd think Eberlestock would supply the range bag in a nice cardboard box, as opposed to just a clear vinyl bag. That way, the bag would arrive at the point of use without damage. For those of you wondering, no the bag is NOT made in China, however it is manufactured in Viet Nam.If you are willing to pay the cost, I would hazard to say that you'll like/love the bag. It is a quality product, well thought-out in its design, very practical and useful, and made out of first-class materials.

I like this bag. It’s sturdy, can handle allot of weight and the bottom compartment is ideal for holding guns. I have 3 full sized revolvers, a Glock 40Mos, with their holsters and targets in it with room to spare. I used the top main compartment for ammo and it will hold more than you’d like to carry. I have it set up also to carry my electronic game call so I use one of the side pockets for it and a range finder still room for more stuff. The other side has hearing protection in it which leaves plenty of room for more stuff. I will eventually get at least one gun case from eberlestock to go on the near side. The biggest issue with this bag is the room!! It’s easy to overload

I have used this as a range bag for quite a while before writing a review. The size of the bag is large enough that you will tend to over load bag for what you really need at the range. But everything you will use will fit in this bag. The bag is very durable and the zippers are very robust. The material will not rip with regular use. The only con I have is the strap to carry it over your shoulder has the padding in the wrong spot for how I carry it. The buckle hits me on the shoulder, but I can deal with that. If you purchase this bag, it will last you for many years due to how it is made.
