These are absolute garbage. Out of a pack of 24, I could only thread arrow heads into 5 of them. The rest are either cross threaded or not tapped properly. Do not waste your money. These are essentially defective and very poorly manufactured.

These inserts are not threaded correctly. They are threaded 8-32, but the threads are not cut all the way. It is impossible to get a tip started. Chasing the threads with a 8-32 tap solves the problem, but if you don't want to go through the trouble, you should buy inserts from another company.

Works . Use good glue & clean inside of shaft with alcohol or acetone before inserting to ensure strong adhesion. Apply a drop of low strength thread locker to point before screwing into insert so it will not keep unscrewing from use.

These arrow heads are very well constructed. Perfect for my crossbow bolts.
