It's good, but the main thing holding it back is the crossguard. The crossguard needs to be flipped the other way because the way it is now hurts the top of the hand when swung around and when it impacts something, which could make it risky to use.It may seem like a small complaint, but a bad crossguard can ruin an otherwise great sword or prop.

My only problem with this sword is that it digs into my thumb when I wield it. Aside from that it works very well. I recommend wearing gauntlets with this so it doesn't cut into your thumb knuckle

It's a relatively small practice weapon, clearly designed for one hand wielding, but where the handle guard and the grip meet is an issue. The way the plastic is designed there's a small square that's as thick as the rounded handle, but it's semi-sharp and would hurt if you held onto it with your hand fully pressed against the guard. If they could shave that out, or change the hilt entirely to better suit holding, then this could be a nice 4 or 5 star. Sadly, that square center piece between the rounded handle and small guard isn't appealing. Overall still a neat replica.

This is pretty fun to swing around and smack things with, I did have to sand down the square piece under the guard as the edges do come at an uncomfortable level of sharpness but other than that 8 minute fix its overall fun to have.

Exactly what I was hoping for. Sturdy and good quality, especially for the price.blade doesn't bend and the design is well done

The overall construction and design is great although the handle is too round for my liking and the sharp corners of the pommel do not feel good against the wrist it's very durable but also quite a bit heavier than you'd expect it's hard to wield with one hand which is specifically why I bought it to be usable in one hand, reason why it's so heavy it's cuz it has no distal taper making it feel like more of a club than a sword which is fixable with a file if you're patient enough

wow just wow, this thing is AWESOME. It's too short (but it shows you the length so I knew this) and it's a bit to light. I'm not the biggest fan of the grip, I prefer a smooth grip or wrapped. However all in all I've not found a better training Jian in wood or plastic. I highly recommend this one. I think I'll buy again so I can give it those I'm sparring with.
