The cylinder is fine. It fits great and the sizing is even accurate. The gaskets will work. The piston is junk. The skirt clearance is too loose and will let the piston wobble which will wear the cylinder and piston. Use the cylinder with a name brand piston. I use Vertex but there are several others. The cylinder is inexpensive and quick. It allows you to avoid the wait for a machine shop which is nice.

Cylinder and gaskets seem quality made I put this kit in my 06 rancher it's been on 2 rides and they haven't been easy rides either no break in time just hammer down lol I honestly don't have much faith in the Piston can tell it's definitely not Honda quality so I figure I'll be tearing back into it to install a new Honda Piston and rings i bought this kit for the cylinder but it's a plus it came with gaskets and Piston I'm going to run the Piston as long as it ain't smoking or lost compression then I'll put a Honda Piston back inThe Piston rings it was hard to determine what was the top ring and second ring there's no instructions in box and they look almost just alike minus one ring had a chrome edge so from building engines in the past I knew that the one with chrome edge was top ring. Looking at the Honda service manual for it didn't give any kind of help for determining the rings.... The reason I say I don't have much faith in the Piston is I compared the factory Honda rings to these China ones the Honda rings are thicker and wider than this setup but I'll run it until it has a problem hopefully it doesn't for a while but time will tellThe gasket set if you're planning on replacing valve cover gasket and valve seals this kit doesn't come with those I bought another gasket set and used it because of that but so far I would definitely buy this kit again if nothing else for the cylinder
