I have had echo products for years snd have been great products. Received the hedge trimmer yesterday and went to use it this morning but all it will do is idle.Took I’m following morning to authorized dealer and they repaired it in 5 minutes. No paperwork. Will give further feedback after true use!Now that I have had time to really use it and put it to its test. It is a great pruner for home or semi commercial. I did a lot of pruning on some evergreen shrubs. The shrubs have not been pruned in at least 6 years so a lot of overgrowth. They cut right through just about e erything that would fit between the cutting jaws. The only issues I had was the sap acted like a glue that bound up or locked up the cutting jaws. Nothing that a Little WD40 would not take care of as it broke down the sap so it could be wiped away.Final update last week I used it for an hour and half continuous use. Used two tanks of fuel with zero issues. Echo makes a great product. I have a power head and leaf blower that I have had since about 2006 the zero issues.

If you have hedges to trim, this is the tool for you. It starts every time after the choke pull and cuts like a knife through melted butter. It has added years to my old life. I actually enjoy trimming my shrubs.
