I've owned 3 of these pads over the past 6 years. For the price point, they're excellent as a very light, very compact, very comfortable sleeping pad. I purchased my most recent one to replace my first pad (out of laziness, I just didn't want to try to patch it again) in anticipation of an 8 day camping trip. During my first use, I found that the pad had a slow leak and required ~25% reinflation each night. Unfortunately, by the time I was back from the woods the return period had expired, so my only recourse was to use ECOTEK's warranty/support inbox. I've sent multiple emails but have never received a response from them.

This mat is INCREDIBLE! I don't usually ever write reviews but I had to share my love for this mat. Not only has this mat transformed the way I sleep while camping and traveling, but it's extremely high quality and thoughtfully invented. Upon inflating, there is a flap that allows for the air already blown into the mat to stay put so you're not having to simultaneously inflate the mat while it's deflating. The circular air pocket design makes for an EXTREMELY comfortable and supportive sleeping surface! I've slept on the pure HARD rock during a backpacking (CDT) trip and I couldn't have been more comfortable! I honestly cannot speak highly enough of this mat, it's absolutely fantastic.Pros:- Lightweight- Fast inflation (I timed myself at 10 seconds)- Folds into a small bag for easy and light travel- High quality

Someone recommended that I look at this sleeping pad after the one I was using developed a leak. I was a little apprehensive about all the claims but this pad fits the bill. It is lighter and rolls to a smaller size than my previous sleeping pad. It also inflates faster which is great after a long hike. The only reason I didn't give it all five stars is it is not as thick as I would like. It is still very comfortable but I could use a little more support in my lower back. I solve this problem by putting a rolled up T-shirt where I need it. This may only be my problem and it will not stop me from using this pad on future camping trips.

Bought this as a gift for my boyfriend; he's 6', 190 lbs. Haven't used it on a trip yet but tested it out in the living room. Length is great especially for someone on the taller side. When inflated completely, he laid on his side without grinding his hip into the floor. I use a self-inflating thermarest sleeping pad that I compared this pad to, so initially I was a little put off by having to actively inflate this pad but when I saw how quickly it inflated even with short/half-hearted breaths I was over it. This pad is also much thicker than my thermarest sleeping pad (about twice as thick) which is another plus for side-sleepers. This pad deflates and rolls up quickly and with little hassle, I usually have to spend a decent amount of time smooshing all the air out of my thermarest when its time to pack it up. Packs up into a slender, space efficient size and shape. Also weighs less than my thermarest. Going to try it out on a trip soon to see how it holds up, might come back to buy a second pad! And with a lifetime warranty I'm not concerned about the product failing any time soon.

The Hybern8 is quite comfy for my 5'8" 150# frame...when inflated properly I don't bottom out when side sleeping. Also I like the width...that extra couple of inches you get adds to the overall comfort as you don't feel like you are sleeping on a rail especially whenside sleeping. This pad is easy to inflate (about 12 puffs) and is equally easy to quickly deflate completely and can be rolled or folded into a small package for storing. I actually really like its 2.2 inch thickness as it allows my arms to hang off the pad at more comfortable angles- but that's me! Finally the pad is reasonably light and is durably constructed and should work well for late spring thru early fall backpacking pending an individuals particular needs...I am sure for me this pad will suffice in early spring thru fall conditions in Utahs high country.

I brought this with me while I camped and hiked in Iceland and Scotland. It is lightweight, easy to pack and packs fairly small, easy to inflate (can take some understanding of the one-way mouth piece), and comfortable. It was a fine length for me as a 6'1" male, just had my feet off the end. I am a side sleeper and had no issues with the ground. I am not too familiar with the grading system for insulation/ heat retention, but there were a few nights the temp got below freezing and I was a bit cold. But part of that might have been my sleeping bag heat level. Also the price is GREAT! Spent a bunch of time at REI and most pads were $100-200, and I feel like this is very comparable to most of them.Only complaint/ issues I could see are:- Bottom isn't really non-slide, and top is slick. So if you aren't on flat ground you might need to move yourself back on the pad in the middle of the night.- I feel like the one-way valve could break with a lot of use. But after 20 or so uses, it doesn't show signs of problems at this point.Would highly recommend.
