The product works for the most part. The center button doesn’t function super well and I don’t have the OE to compare but it’s sticking and the left side of the cap doesn’t want to stay snapped in but it’s better than not having one at all.

Clips broke upon first use of the step. Looks ok but not very robust and plastic is weak.

Fit good, easy to install with good instruction BUT plastic clips are doing the same as the original..not making the product stay on fully. 2 of the end clips keep poping out of the slots...grrrr

The part was defective so it did not properly snap into place on left side. Button piece for steps stuck. Fell off same day as installing. Worse than if I left the original piece it replaced.

The only problem I have is that the way Ford designed the tail gate, when you pull cargo out and you slide it along the tail gate it catches the flex step tailgate cap and pulls it off. Once this happens it breaks the eyelet holes which makes it hard to fasten back on.

This is a great product and it replaces all the plastic parts needed for the step. It has been working just fine for me since I bought. If I end up breaking this one. I will for sure buy from them again
