I’m a 39 yr old female, 5’2”, 140 lb, and wear a size 8 short in pants.The waist of these pants comes up almost to my bottom rib. When I tried them on I immediately laughed and thought “what in the Alfred Dunner is this?” They’d be cute on my Granny but no way am I wearing these. Completely unflattering (that whole flat mom ass look is not for me) and entirely too high waisted for this short chick. Material is fine - a linen/cotton blend that would have softened with washing, I’m sure. The length, pulled up to my ribs, as they were, was still full length on me (which I expected). Probably good for those on at least the taller end of average.

I was so pleasantly surprised with these pants. These are true cropped (just above or at ankle if worn at waist) wide leg pants. They are generously sized but not overly baggy at waist to leg area, then they have a nice wide pant leg. Very flattering and comfortable for apple shapes. Sizing is odd, in that I ordered a numerical size and received a letter size. They are perfect, but just be aware. Wash beautifully but didn't machine dry. Just ordered another pair.

The trousers listed as 100% linen are actually a 55% linen/45% cotton blend—but you’re paying the price for pure linen. We ordered two pair & they were sent separately for some reason, but both were the blend. As they arrived days apart we had to raise the issue of false advertising separately, having to go through the Byzantine process to try to find a way to actually speak to someone at Amazon each time. The first representative eventually offered a £5 gift voucher as compensation for the false advertising, but days later the second person (Omar) refused any sort of rebate or compensation, telling me instead it was my responsibility to chase the third party (Amazon US) for any recompense. He said the £5 card covered both items but we were not the ones who sent them separately & therefore had no way of knowing both items were not as listed (100% linen.). What is especially frustrating is the fact that we previously had ordered the exact same items in 3 different colours and they were in fact 100% linen, hence we chose to order them again! Very poor customer service following false advertising which is illegal in this country. Really really disappointed by this experience.

This is one of the companies that have a linen blend pant that looks like linen and is cool like linen but washes without shrinkage. The description of the pants length is spot on and doesn't highlight a plus size figure by adding to the waist. I have every color. The weight of the fabric and the length goes from Summer to the middle of Fall.

If your body has similar properties to mine, you'll love these pants!Buying clothes without trying them on first is always iffy for me, and finding clothing reviews from ladies who seem to be about my size are rare, so I'm going to clearly paint a picture of my size to help other curvy ladies with a big booty.I am 5'4" and wear size 24, and my proportions include long waist with shorter legs, a big droopy belly, wide hips, and a big ol' booty. In other words, I can fit in an economy seat on an airplane and need the seatbelt extender for an extra inch about half the time, but keeping that tray table level is a joke.So about these pants:The waist and hips are generous -They fit me perfectly with a little room to spare, which makes them loose and flowy and ideal for hot weather. I can sit comfortably without worrying about popping a side seam. The elastic waist has enough stretch to easily pull them up over my hips.They have pockets!And they're deep enough to hold a large cell phone without worrying that it'll fall out when I bend over.The length -For me it's ideal, maybe a teensy bit long because I step on my pants a little when climbing up stairs. Pants can fit a little short or long, depending on how wide you are, so your fit can vary, but the bottom hem can accommodate letting them out an inch.About the fabric -These are the nicest linen garments I've ever worn. It's lightweight without being see through. I have worn them in a snowstorm in Wisconsin and during a heated in Florida and can honestly say they're comfortably warm in cold weather, cool and breathable in hot weather.Linen does not stink from sweat and subsequent bacteria growth like man-made fibers do. (Think of the underarm stink in a polyester shirt, for example.) Some folks may object to what I'm going to say next, or think I'm a gross slob, but keep in mind humans have worn linen for thousands of years before soap...Despite wearing my 3 pairs of these pants constantly over the past 7 months, they always pass the crotch sniff test.So I haven't washed them.Ever.Again, linen doesn't stink from regular wear.That said, I have no idea about shrinkage, but I plan to (eventually) hand wash them in cold water and hang to dry to reduce any risk of shrinkage.Bottom line, these are incredible pants and my goal is to get at least 1 pair in every color. I'm buying my 4th pair today.10/10 highly recommend.

Be patient with sizing. To start, I am 5'1, 155 lbs. so a larger waist/tummy size. I purchased the light blue and dark blue in large and extra large according to the size chart. Swam in the xlarge and the large being too generous aroung my legs and too long, so returned both. On a whim I re-orded the medium which is definitely not my normal size. Out of the package they looked so much smaller, so very surprised to fit into them. The waist was not too tight and the length hit right at my ankle (so happy not to hem). Slightly tighter than the large size across my abdomen and rear but so much better in leg width and length. I will need to be careful of shrinkage. Light linen and feel, nice colors, will wrinkle easily as does all linen so get your steamer ready. Only 4 stars as I was very dissapointed when the medium light blue arrived, not in the manufacturer package, no tag and very badly wrinkled. Probably a return from someone else. The navy in medium came in manufacturer package and not wrinkled. Took a while to get sizing right but with the ease of Amazon Prime return policy, I have some nice pants for Sacramento summers as I don't wear shorts/capris anymore. Nice purchase.

I bought them in white because another reviewer said the white wasn't see through at all. Mine were very see through, I was wearing light gray underwear that is close to my skin tone and you could see them very clearly through the pants, in lighting that wasn't. I'm not sure if there's been a change in the quality or if the seller is paying for fake reviews.They were also shorter than I expected. I'm 5'5 but have short legs for my height and usually wear petite pants, so I thought these would be around ankle length on me. However, they're a bit shorter on me than on the model. The total length measurement provided wasn't helpful, but the inseam was about 21 inches for both the size 2-4 and size 8-10. I bought both because I was worried size 2-4 would be too small on me, but it fit well. My waist is 26 inches and my hips are 36 inches.I really dislike the drawstring, especially on the size S. The drawstring seems to be the same length for every size, and they didn't make it shorter for the size S. I don't understand why there is a drawstring when the waistband is already elastic.The fabric was ok for the price; not amazing, but it does feel like linen.Overall they are accurate to the picture.
