My old, hand-me-down Marmot jacket has a bunch of holes in it now, so I decided to upgrade to something a little better. Love this jacket. Comfortable, warm, and weatherproof. I wear it even on a cold morning when there's no rain.

overall a high quality jacket, not sure how packable this is. I would suggest this is a more medium weight jacket for cool days than a rainy spring day. Great fit and happy with product, will be keeping but looking for something else that fits in a backpack or zips into itself.

I bought this Eddie Bauer rain jacket to use in Alaska during the rainy season. It worked even better than I thought it would. Not only is it a great 3-layer waterproof system, the inside layer is mesh to keep condensation or sweat from making you feel sticky while wearing the jacket. Also, even though it has no insulation, the jacket makes a great outer shell for a merino wool underlayer sweater or jacket when it is colder (lower 40s), or just as a light jacket for slightly warmer weather.

Looks very nice. Real protection against rain. Very good quality. Spacey pockets. Not a fan of packing it into the pocket.

This is a very comfortable rain jacket. Nice light weight clean look. It packs up easily and doesn't get wrinkles. I just wish it was a smidge longer, but that's just a personal preference.

Jacket came in timely fashion. I like the quality in view of what I paid. I got a Large (I have a waist size of 38in) and was contemplating an XL. Fortunately, I did not- the actual size was slightly roomier than expected as the designers probably factored that the user would put on additional layers below. Other than that, I like that the hood can be stowed in the collar. Did not quite like the velcro on the overlap- guess it's more for functionality.

Lo obtuve en oferta y es de muy buena calidad, aunque es delgado, te mantiene caliente y más aún cuando traes un suéter o sudadera abajo, lo único que no supe, fue como guardarlo en su bolsillo :/Super recomendable

This jacket works really well and for the price it's a no-brainer. It's lightweight, but actually keeps you dry, unlike other lightweight jackets that claim to be raincoats but are really just windbreakers. Fits true to size and is a good shell that can fit layers underneath. I bought this because I had previously purchased the Marmot Precip jacket from here, looking for a quality lightweight raincoat. But like other people have stated, it doesn't take very long at all for the inner lining of the Marmot Precip to start to disintegrate and flake off. I don't know if it's just poorly made, which seems weird for a Marmot product, or if it's a counterfeit? This Eddie Bauer jacket has a mesh lining and you can tell it's way better quality than the Marmot. If you're looking for a good raincoat that is affordable, built well and is genuine (Eddie Bauer is the listed seller) then you can't do much better than this one.
