I bought a similar colored (Marigold) Eddie Bauer Rain jacket back about 20 years ago from the local Mall, Eddie Bauer store. This is a swanky jacket. My wife inadvertently put the jacket in the dryer 15 years ago. The model I had had a grey rubberized coating inside the hood. Sadly, a lot of that coating came off in the heat 'n tumble. It was a "goner" appearance. I could not find the same jacket at EB online nor in the store nor Amazon. I rarely if ever get bummed about damaged clothing... but I was truly bummed. Fast Fwd to this week. Practically the same jacket from Eddi Bauer is / was on sale 50% on Amazon ! I couldn't believe my good fortune ! About the saaaame color (not yellow like the Morton Salt girl ad). The inner hood is no longer rubber pray coated. The sizing chart (I followed directions :-) resulted in BIG smiles when it arrived and I tried it on. Very, very nice jacket and I am thrilled !!!

All in all I like the product, and bought this to replace an almost identical Eddie Bauer product that I love but which is starting to wear. The problem with this purchase - there's no goose! Where's the goose in the logo in the photo as shown? I wanted the gooooose! Oh well. I'm on the fence whether I'll return.All said, I still recommend the product. (Just wanted that damn goose *grumble grumble*)

I got this for $50. After wearing it several times, I am very impressed with how easily it handles rain and cold. I can't imagine a better jacket for the price. No pit zips. That's my only complaint. But I knew that going in.

Eddie Bauer never disappoints...bought this for my husband and he loves the buttery-soft texture, and it keeps him nice and dry. For torrential downpours and very low temps, you may need more of a parka, but for spring showers and walking the dog in the rain, this does this job!
