It features smooth idling cams for daily drivers, trucks or vans. The advertised intake duration is 278 degrees and the exhaust duration is 288 degrees. The camshaft comes with hydraulic lifters, assembly lube and full instructions. The intake valve lift with factory rocker arm ratio is 0. 42 and the exhaust valve lift with factory rocker arm ratio is 0. 442.

Had it installed in a newly rebuild engine all new parts. The cam was broken in per detailed instructions and sounded good. After the exhaust was finished I started it and it sounded horrible. Needless to say the cam is actually bad. I found out Edelbrock had a bunch of cams produced that were poor quality, I must have got one.

This kit shouldn’t exist but yet it does!!! Some yahoo never read the instructions on the camshaft that states you need ROLLER type lifters for this camshaft using FLAT TOPS WILL RESULT IN DAMAGING YOUR CAMSHAFT/ DESTROYING YOUR ENGINE and it’ll VOID YOUR WARRANTY!!!! SO I ADVISE YOU NOT TO PURCHASE THIS KIT!!!!

Replaced the stock cam with rounded off lobes in my '78 Camaro's 350 engine. Everything went well but the mandated 2500 RPM for 30 minute break-in was a bit scary on a freshly rebuilt motor. Car seems to run much better now.

What more need be said. Top quality at a good price. Engine is running strong with great throttle response. Paired it with the recommended intake and some roller rockers.

Super happy with this camshaft. I paired it with a high zinc Amsoil break-in oil during the break in process. I ended up losing a connecting rod bearing due to ghosts (shavings) from the stock 305 cam that fail from the previous owner of the block worked its way in between the crank and connecting rod and clogged an oil galley. Miraculously, the camshaft survived the ordeal and will live on in a new 350!Eddy cam + Amsoil Break-in = ultimate combo.

can't beat Edelbrock for quality and works very well with their other products. I bought the intake and carb to match. my little chevy is strong in the low/mid range! be very careful with break in! after first oil change one of the lifters got really noisy. I haven't had a chance to take it all apart again to look into it but I suspect the cam is eating itself. I used break in oil and high zddp oil after break in so..... I'm leaving the 5 star rating until I can see whats going on. I'll change if part was actually defective.

This was my first time installing a cam. It was quite a challenge for what came along with the process, but once all was done, it is worth what I paid for. It is a great product, giving your engine a more aggressive sound, and a little more kick. It’s a mild change, and NOT for you if you’re looking for a lope.

Had flat cam problems in a stock (un-rebuilt) '70 C10. Lifters were also shot. After install, engine starts and runs better than ever before. Great kit to bring an old worn 350 back to life! Pulls strong from a little over idle, comes to life when the secondaries open up. Not a race cam by any means but huge improvement over stock.
