Your cart is empty.The Edelbrock Performer Manifolds are dual-plane, low-rise intake manifolds with a 180 degree firing order and patented runner design. This combination boosts torque over a wide RPM range, from off-idle all the way up to 5, 500 RPM. The Performers are ideal for passenger cars, trucks, tow vehicles and RV's. These manifolds also deliver improved throttle response over stock intakes and are available with non-EGR styles. They accept late-model choke, water neck, alternator, air conditioning brackets and have provisions for oil filler tube.

Wow!Just….wow.I knew it was going to be a big job replacing the intake manifold on my truck. The manifold shares part of the head which means complex gaskets, careful connecting rod removal, valve spring guides and more.The replacement was not trivial. It took me a few hours to do the swap and the old cast iron was HEAAVY and quite the chore to remove. I had to use a cherry picker to get it out! Was at least 80lbs!The new Edelbrock performer was 1/10th the weight. I put it in with one hand, that’s how light it is!Going from the stock 2bbl with original Motorcraft carb to a 4bbl with EFI and long tube headers made a SUBSTANTIAL difference in all aspects of drivability.This intake manifold plays a huge role in air flow. More air in, more air out. Like a LOT more. Also made the truck much more fuel efficient. I went from 5-7mpg to almost 15. The EFI helps with that but so does the manifold.Edelbrock hits a home run with this manifold. The fit and finish was perfect. I did have to modify the center of the ports to make room for the butterflies. I removed 3/8” from the center bore divider using an angle grinder. Turned out good with room for WOT. I suppose I could have used a riser but I didn’t want to risk good clearance with the EFI.This is spendy but if you are looking for a quality product to upgrade your old FE engine, this is where you start.

its impossible for this intake to work as claimed , the port holes on the intake are smaller than the port holes on my existing cast iron 4 barrel intake . the holes are nearly half the size of the gasket openings . huge disappointment.

I purchased this manifold in 2014. It has been sitting boxed up waiting for the engine rebuild. Last weekend 6/9/2019 I unpacked to install on my freshly rebuilt 1967 F100 352FE. During the install I found that there was a location pin on my block that prevented the manifold from lining up. I ended up drilling a hole in the intake manifold to allow the manifold to sit properly. So my 3 rating is based on this product does not fit all 352’s. But it still looks good. This reminded me to always dry fit parts before attempting an install.
