Your cart is empty.The Edelbrock Performer T. B. I. (Throttle Body Injection) Intake Manifolds are dual-plane, low-rise intake manifolds with a 180 degree firing order and patented runner design. This patented design greatly improves torque over a wide RPM range for excellent throttle response, especially off-idle through the mid-range. The intake manifold directs the air or air-fuel mixture from the throttle body to the intake ports in the cylinder head. The flow typically proceeds from the throttle body into a chamber called the plenum, which in turn feeds individual tubes, called runners, leading to each intake port. The Performers are ideal for passenger cars, trucks and RVs.

Got my car in the shop to find out this intake doesn’t fit but my original tbi intake bolt up with no problem smh

At first glance it looked good. It wasn't until I started bolting things on that I noticed things weren't quite right. This was not a direct fit replacement. The bolt holes didn't line up to my accessory brackets. I thought maybe it was just one.. but three of the taps were machined wrong on this manifold. The holes for the ignition coil mounting bracket were off by an 1/8 of an inch so I had to modify my mounting bracket. The brake booster port didn't thread in all that strait my hand. The biggest problem, however, is the port for the coolant temperature sensor was tapped twice? Once at the proper 90 degree angle, the first three threads are at approximately a 70 degree angle making installing the sensor impossible without rethreading the sensor port.. I'd exchange it for another one but after reading some reviews of the product it seems that accurate machining/casting seems to be an issue with these..

The overall drive add performance is much better. Throttle response and a stop is improved.MAKE SURE to get all the parts needed before starting.- I would replace the intake bolts and make sure to use thread sealant on them before putting them on!-Silicone gasket maker-Pipe plug kit. There are a lot of ports that will need to be blocked off. Make sure to use thread sealant on these as well.-Intake gaskets, water neck gasket, throttle body gasket.-You will also need to reset timing.-replace the Throttle & Transmission Kickdown Bracket (edelbrock 8030)

I was hoping to get more noticeable performance improvement from this Throttle Body aluminum intake manifold. I put this intake on a new Jasper Engines Class I 350ci in my 1994 Chevy Blazer 4wd, 2 door, 5.7L. I may have been expecting something this manifold is unable to provide. It is an excellent fit, everything hooked up as expected and it looks much better than the factory original for sure. However, I don't believe the $350+ price was worth the very marginal gains (if any) I am seeing.

Awesome intake manifold. Edelbrock always impresses. Would definitely recommend. Adds a lot of power and throttle response is much better. Just bolted right in. Didn't have to do any machining or drilling any holes.

This is a perfect intake for pickups, it gives you 'seat of the pants' extra torque. It is a product well worth it's cost. It give the air/fuel mixture a little extra spin so the valve location is well covered. And the best part is you simply transfer the hoses, fitting and you can even paint it with hi-temp engine paint and install.

this intake bolted right up and gave my truck more power and added some look to the motor compartment it was a little dificult to get it smoged since it never came with a smog sticker that says its legal
