I have a 14’ aluminum boat and with two people trolling this is a little fast on lowest setting. I had to get a drift sock to slow the boat down. Motor works great and I like the telescoping handle.

I put this motor on a bay liner open bow for back up my main engine failed 7 miles from the dock on Lake Erie. This minn kota brought us all the way back to the harbor with no trouble.
