I'm a mosaic artist who regularly uses nippers. These are hands down the WORST nippers that I've ever used. They barely cut.

I bought this because of a recommendation of a friend to crack graded sports card cases. I am sure they work fine with tile, but do not work well with thicker grading cases. Probably a better option out there

The construction of this tool seems pretty solid. That said, they are too big to easily hold. They also aren’t reliably accurate for cutting small, square glass tiles into triangles. I am using 1/2” tiles for a mosaic table. The triangles would turn out too jagged and irregular. They perform fine cutting tiles into rectangles and do well at nipping squares into round shapes. However, my wheeled nippers perform better overall, so I will be returning these.

I've used more pricey nippers than these and they didn't work as well. I bought these because I needed in a hurry and didn't want to go out in virus land to buy more. These arrived quick, and work great.......
