This is a very nice trowel. Seems very sturdy, and well balanced. It is a bit longer than I'd like, but ok. It is stamped stainless steel, made in China. But it seems well made, the handle is a slightly soft feel, including a thumb indent. At least one comment claims it came with instructions to clean, etc, after every use. Mine did not have any such instructions. Seems like it will last a long time. I'm happy with it.

My old one of these just bent after very few uses. This one looks like it will last a long time.

The blade is thinner than the other, larger trowel I purchased at the same time, and the brand is "Landscapers", not "Edward" as advertised. There is a visible crack where the shaft is welded to the blade.

I use this to dig deep in wet sand, and it holds up well mashing against rocks and shells. It's comfortable to hold and hasn't broken or rusted. I'd buy it again.

It's a good size ... the handle is nice ... BUT the handle came off the second time I used it.

MADE IN CHINA - stamped right on the blade - I bought this BECAUSE a reviewer said made in USA! VERY DISAPPOINTED! It is, however, nicely padded, a comfy weight - not too heavy or light. Will see how it holds up over the season. I am angry, I try very hard to buy USA made products - and we produce steel!

I bought both sizes of this tool as I think they are pretty well made in comparison to most other hand trowels. There are some issues however. Both blades are stamped CHINA which in my view is not a problem as I think it is pretty good steel. I have a bigger problem that both blades are also stamped STAINLESS STEEL which they are not. Both are magnetic which stainless steel is not. The description of the smaller blade says it is polished steel but the larger blade version is described as stainless. I don’t think this is a big deal as far as use goes but it is misleading to claim an expensive material that is not actually present.

I really like how this fits in my hand plus it is very strong for prying rocks & roots. The handy ruled side is especially helpful when planting my fall bulbs
