Lowes wanted $26 for the same exact product that Amazon sold for $16. Happy to have shopped at Amazon. Install was easy but does require two people.

Didn’t measure the “T” section exactly. Ended up removing the track from the door and widening the slots. Still a 2 man job. The product is good quality.

I sprayed lube, dry silicon you can buy in cans here like 3 in 1 dry lube on old seal along where it slides in it's track and on the track before sliding this on. That made the job simple but it would really bind and be a pain without this or white lithium or some kind of lube. I'd use dish soap if I didn't have anything else that would work ok too.

It does work great but wish it was a inch longer when installed. Decent quality rubber.

Fit awesome and nice that it was a little longer so it could be cut perfectly.

Easy to install if you watch what you are doing. Sliding vinyl into a channel won't be 100% easy. I hope it lasts. Seems to be pretty sturdy.

This weather strip looks heavy duty. I first ordered the smaller spline size, and it kept falling out of the track during installation. The thicker was very difficult install, even though I used a boat load of soapy solution to lube the tracks. It finally was done after about an hour of struggling. Hopefully this will last years

Definitely need 2 people to install, one to pull and the other to feed and hold straight. Also needed lots of lube, I used WD40 sprayed on the track and on the rubber itself. Seems to work just fine but haven’t seen it function in rainy weather.

So this is a replacement seal for my garage door. Some people pointed out that it gets really stiff in cold weather. Well, yes it gets even stiffer since this is not a real rubber product (now I realized it is indeed vinyl... my mistake) it is but plastics that behaves not well in a colder climate.Installation is not that bad if you use Vaseline to lube the edges where it engages with the aluminum extrusion it slides into, for example, but do not wait for the colder climate.I will see how long this actually lasts...In cold weather as the door closes and the seal hits the garage floor, it is like rock-on-rock "collision".It did not break, however. You need to have a level floor for this product does not conform to the shape of floor in cold weather.

The T section was way too wide to fit in the tracks, the dimensions were not shown in the product description and the seller is not answering any questions. Hence low rating and the product will be returned.

I was completely amazed! I fully expected this to be a real pain in the butt project. I have 2 nine foot wide metal garage doors so I ordered 2 strips. The order came quickly. The doors still had the original bottom seal on them from 20 years ago. That is, what was left of the seal. The material was torn and what remained had morphed into something hard and brittle. I could not believe that the remains of the old one slid out. Sliding it out did a pretty good job of cleaning the track but I used a small broom to make sure all the remaining debris was gone. I unrolled the new product and draped it over a six foot ladder. This kept the material at about the same height as the partially closed door and reduced the pull against me as I fed the strip into the track. I was surprised at how easy it was to feed the new strip with a simple push and pull motion. The whole process took me about 10 minutes per door. When complete there was about 3 inches of overhang on each end. That was too much and would not allow the door to close without hitting the rail supports. I used one of those cheap (dollar store) plastic razor knives that allow you to push out as much of the blade as you want. This was important because it is a pretty tight space and it allowed me to "saw" my way thru the strip. It took a little try and error to get it right but I ended up leaving about an inch overhang on each end. That seemed to work well. No clue how the product will hold up but I am very pleased at this point. Given the price and ease of installation if I have to redo this work in a few years then I would still be happy.
