It’s food safe and does really well on cooking my eggs in cute shapes. The problems I have are. The heart continues to flip while boiling. It’s a little bit annoying but I really hated peeling the eggs and I like the cute shapes.

These little egg poachers are made of polypropylene, food grade. They are rigid, so you don't squeeze them to pop out the egg. You need to use a utensil, but then it will slide out. You do have to brush the containers with oil in order to make that happen. Their insulating properties make it so that you can touch them as and unscrew the lid as soon as you take them out of the water, but it also makes it take longer to cook the egg than you might have thought. I wish they had included instructions with an idea of how long you would need to cook the eggs. They are a fun addition to the breakfast menu. They will be fun to use with my grandchildren. I am going to try putting the spices in before the egg and see how that works. They do hold a jumbo sized egg.

Turns upside down while boiling, doesn’t come out the shape at all. Not worth the money. It is functional though.

The set of 4 with different shapes makes breakfast fun and easy. The food-grade material feels sturdy, and the included oil brush ensures the eggs slide out smoothly every time. No more dealing with messy shells- just crack the egg, steam, and enjoy!
