Sadly I’m inclined to believe it’s fake. Its heavy and pretty and sparkly but it turns my hand black and dirty. There’s also a part of it that looks like plain rock that just didn’t get coated with color 😞

Pyrite received was exactly as described. Crystal formation in specimen are nicely formed and work well for example in my Science classroom.
