Your cart is empty.Our ceiling medallion collections are modeled after original historical patterns and designs. Our artisans then hand carve an original piece. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines, and a truly unique touch. That master piece is then used to create a mould master. Once the mould master is created we use our high density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, light weight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster medallions is achieved only by using our high density urethane and not vacuum formed, "plastic" type medallions. - Medallions can be cut using standard woodworking tools to add a hole for electrical or a ceiling fan canopy. - Medallions are light weight for easy installation. - They are fully primed and ready for your paint. The canopy is smaller than advertised. I got two. I can probably make it work with my 4.9” canopy light even though it will be tight, however the other 5 1/4” canopy chandelier is out of the question. Quality seems good but I’m not happy that now I have to go through the hassle of a return.

I have other Ekena products elsewhere in our home and they are all great. I custom painted the medallion to match the new ceiling light. Great product and value.

It is such a pretty design I kept it. I didnt think it was going to come on time so I also purchased one from a big box store. the Amazon one came the same day. I took the store bought one back. I painted it a champagne pearl to match my chanderlier. So pretty. Nice size too.

Adhesion? It is a solid piece so it is not flimsy and makes the appearance of being adhered to the ceiling. I didn't pain it or anything, I wanted it to be white. Easy to install depends on what you're installing it around? Like just on the wall as a decoration = EASY; comes completely flat on the back so maybe that's the only tricky part to hanging is on a. wall?. As a medallion to a ceiling fan or chandelier well that is another story and doesn't necessarily mean it has anything to do with this product. Lightweight? Yes! but also sturdy-ish/solid.

Nice piece. Unfortunately I just found out that the inner hallow part is too big for my lamp right after 30 days when my handy man came. Cannot return. Suggest to show the size of the inner hole as well.

Love this first ceiling medallion I bought to use in our "RV home." At 10" it was the perfect fit inside a box already on the ceiling to hang a chandelier. Now it will be used elsewhere as I chose Ekena Millwork's 18" CM 18AT molded polystyrene version after finding out the big box could come down! Huge win!!! Both take spray paint well and won't shrink. Two light coats covered easily.Both ceiling medallions are well made, light-weight and perfect if you, too, want to "glam up" your home!

Not exactly the correct size for the application I had but worked just as well.Material is light, sturdy and paints easily. Added a nice touch to our entry hall lighting.
