I needed to replace some ugly plinths that were around my sliding glass door. I like the simple square design of these. I was able to paint them to match the existing trim and installed them with construction cement. I touched up the seams with a little caulk, and they look great!

These are made of a foam material so you should probably glue instead of relying on nails. I think they are excessively thick, but that is described in dimensions. They look more modern than the circle blocks and work well with 3 1/2 casing.

Look fantastic. Used for corners on door trim. Very stylish!

I just entered the room where the installer has installed these defective items. Only 2 of the 4 sides have received the coated white finish, the other 2 edges are porous foam material!Lets all hope that they paint uniformly or this is a costly time and money setback for my project!!

At best, this product is "meh." It's made of a light-weight hardened foam--NOT a dense foam either--so it has the texture of a Cheeto but it's less durable than even MDF, and it's certainly less durable than wood. It's quite DELICATE so you have to be very, very careful if you use a nail gun with it (we've been using a nail gun on all our door trim and baseboards). Because of the texture--which in no way resembles wood--it's difficult to paint.Frankly, I wouldn't buy his product again. We chose it because it best matched the style of our front door. But it's not a high-quality product and I should have spent more time trying to find a similar shape block made of actual wood.

Not Good! These are advertised by Ekena to be, “factory primed ready for your paint”. Not true. The face is ok. But the sides are rough and unfinished. They will need to be sanded, then primed prior to painting. Further, some areas will need filling. Definitely not as advertised. Certainly not worth the price. We are very disappointed with their poor quality and finish.

Although this is not intended for the purpose, it made a great trim for a shower arm that someone had cut a rather large hole around.
