This small cooktop works exactly as advertised. It heats up quickly and seems to hold a steady temp. Works fine plugged into a standard outlet. The temperature settings are a little wonky - you can’t dial up any temperature you want - there are preset intervals, but it’s still adjustable and can heat up to any temperature range you’ll need.

Purchased to use with my large pot and my 32qt pressure cook. Shows no sign of stress or damage with the heavy load on the cook top. Works well for what I need it to. Not really using it for cooking. More for sterilization and canning.

This unit boils a pot of water in 8 mins, has a larger burner than most, adjustable wattage and very nice controls. Its bigger than most but space was not a concern for us. What we like is that the controls are smooth surface touch style not cheap plastc knobs the break off and get food spilled around them. The owners manual says this is induction and you should use only magnetic cookware but it is wrong. This is infrared, it works fine with non magnetic pans. The outer box has a sticker saying infrared cooktop.

As someone who has used Many cooktops I can say this one is by far better then most. I've used many top brands such as Cuisinart or Oster, etc and none compare to the performance of this unit. Infact I'm buying a 2nd one because I'm so satisfied. I use my 23q pressure canner with no issues on this unit. I even weigh tested it with my 41.5qt all american that weighs 33lb empty. In total I had 51lb on this unit, I placed my canner on it very carefully cause I know it's way beyond its limit and it is glass but it did not Crack or break in any way during cooking. I tested without my diffuser plate (as the all american needs one) and it still got to 14psi without it which is amazing for that huge canner on any hotplate without a diffuser. This is definitely worth the money, no more hour waiting for my canners to heat up.
