I'm not sure if you've ever used an electric eraser, but as a student of the Arts, I started using these for more precise work. Using an electric eraser allows you to keep the tip on the spot you want to erase while the motor exerts an even and constant pressure. In fact, if you practice enough, this is a great way to achieve whitespace that you can shape or draw. Just make sure you have a good grip on the eraser so you can anticipate where it wants to go. Otherwise, you'll have eraser marks all over your drawing.

Works well for the most part. You can't use too much pressure or it stops. Also, I feel like you waste a lot of eraser. Once it gets down you can't use it anymore. Just the tip.

Unit turns on but has absolutely no power to it at all, with even slightly touching the surface to be erased it totally bogs down.Do not recommend to anyone for any job.

My wife has taken up a hobby of drawing. She uses pen, pencil, colored pencils and the electric eraser was just what she needed. It's accurate and easy to hit the spot you need erased without erasing everything around it like a traditional eraser .It comes with 2 sizes of erasers and that total 200 refills. That's nice. She really likes the way it works.

This is a nice electric eraser - it's about as thick and heavy as a plastic fountain pen, and it includes plenty of additional eraser tips and tip holders. It spins as long as you hold down the button, but you have to find the right amount of pressure to apply so that it erases the pencil markings without stopping from excessive pressure. One thing I've found is that it works best when using new alkaline AAA batteries - when the alkaline AAA batteries are less than fresh, or when using rechargeable NiMH batteries, it provides less torque, and tends to stop more easily due to contact pressure. I would've liked if it had a little more torque to it, but I can understand that it can't be too overpowered to prevent tearing paper through use.

I’m not the most diligent about keeping batteries on hand, so I was bit disappointed that it needs 2 AAA batteries. Fortunately I have a pack of them at the moment. I didn’t take away any stars because it’s my fault for not looking at the description more closely. I would have preferred it to be rechargeable. It comes with a fairly generous supply of erasers in 2 different sizes. The device works as it should. It’s lightweight and easy to use. The size is just right for traveling or storing.

Eraser has a bad switch. Will only make a clicking noise when pressing the switch. Tried 3 sets of brand new, tested batteries. Very poor design. Not worth sending back and wasting more of my time.

This electric eraser has an easy to hold ergonomic pencil shape , plenty of torque, and runs on 2 AAA batteries. It comes with both a 5mm standard sized eraser mount and a small precision 2.3 mm eraser mount that are easily and quickly interchanged. One of the standout features of this product is that it comes with an abundance of supplies: 4 mounts for each of the two eraser sizes, 80 of the 5mm erasers, and 140 of the small erasers in two strong zippered plastic bag for each size. Given that I rarely consume even one eraser in a month, this product comes with many years worth of expendable supplies. It also has a cleaning brush included. In summary,, this is a good ergonomic battery powered eraser with what are years of expendable supplies for most people- the exception- batteries not included ;-))
