Solid quality. Very heavy unit that is more compact. The AC power standard pug has convenience. The power supply unit that is also the receiver to control the winch has a cord with plenty of length, and has a connector to separate from the winch. That feature adds convenience in hanging the main winch unit. The remote controller is super convenient. I'm not sure if I will ever need to be 200 feet away to lift something, but I'm sure there's a good application just waiting to show itself. The winch runs quiet and steady. The steel "rope" has the strength and quality to match the steel and aluminum alloy of the winch.Total success.

Weighs about 24 pounds, Nice remote control feature. I will be making a lift system with this wrench to help lift some roofing materials onto the top of my house as I will be re-roofing myself.

My husband owns a car lot / mechanic shop and it just so happened that he has been looking for a new hoist like this for quite a while so as soon as we saw this we had to scoop it up. Everything came very well packed and secured and everything was just as described in the ad. This is super heavy duty and very well made. You can tell it's not cheaply made or easily breakable whatsoever. My husband was easily able to get this installed in his mechanic garage and he has already used this a handful of times to swap over some heavy Motors and whatnot. He said this works perfectly as it should and he is not run into a single issue so far. Very impressed with the quality and the craftsmanship. Definitely does everything that it is supposed to do and then some. Solid 10 out of 10 in our opinion and definitely worth every penny.

He was able to install this in the barn using the tractor bucket as a lift— the ceiling rafters are 14 or 15 feet in there. He's thrilled— we’ve had come alongs and manual chain hoists before, but never a hoist with a remote in the barn. This reminds us both of a davit on a boat for picking up and stowing a boat tender. It’s slow, but it’s powerful and it’s precise when operated carefully. He’s very happy, and we have new and improved moving and lifting capabilities now through the magic of machinery.

THIS has been such a lifesaver in our garage. We have been using it to help us lift boxes up into the attic…and though it is probably not its primary use, it sure has been a major help getting some of the heavier boxes up. We did have to add some hardware to one of the eaves just above our attack entrance space so it could be attached and detached as needed, but now that we did that, we can use it whenever we want up there to add or remove things without struggling with the hefty stuff. We are going to do the same for the upstairs attics so we can get the Christmas stuff down easier. Side note, you do have to make like, a cable harness, if you are using it for bins. It doesnt just attach to boxes or anything. It is easy to do though, and worth the extra step. The remote helps too. We are VERY happy with this, and believe me when I say it will be getting a lot of use in this house as we are working on remodeling too.

At 220 or 440 pound capacity, this overhead electric hoist is a nice convenience in a small to medium shop. A wireless remote is a convenience you cannot do without. Well made with safety features, this winch is well worth the cost as you will discover on the first job.

This is a nice addition to my garage workshop. I'm occasionally working with large (5ft x 10ft) artwork panels that weigh ~300 lbs and they are a monster to stand up from flat when I'm done working on them, this is a great way to pick up one side and get them to vertical and onto a dolly. Only picking up one side means it's only lifting half the weight, so 150 lbs, but it does it without issue. For the sake of testing, I rigged up a workbench with about 400 lbs and this had no issues lifting it just off the ground, it made a bit more noise and was clearly trying harder than my normal picks, but it did just fine. Honestly, being that it's in my garage, I'm more concerned about my roof framing being able to take the load than the hoists ability to lift it. If I need to lift anything heavier I'll likely look at reinforcing my framing. The only complaint I have is that the winch is fairly slow, especially in the "double-line" configuration, but I suppose that's the price you pay for larger load capacities. All in all, I'm impressed, it's strong but slow, just make sure whatever you're attaching it to can adequately support the load.
