Our old toilet used a pressurized water system. When I installed this toilet, the directions don't specify anything regarding this. So, our toilet kept filling up with water and over flowing. After several messages with customer support, I got nowhere. I decide to take the system apart and came to the realization that the new toilet is sucking it's own water in so it did not need the pressurized water. I bypassed my pressure pump and reinstalled the toilet and it is now working great. This is something that would have been nice to include in the directions for install.

I recently upgraded my small yacht with this HOCANFLO electric marine toilet, and I am absolutely thrilled! Its compact design takes up minimal space, and the white vitreous china bowl looks both clean and upscale. The built-in 12V macerator pump operates quietly, never disturbing my peaceful moments on the boat. This item claims to not need a pressurized water source if using lake water. The toilet I was replacing pulled in lake water but now I have to convert the system to pressurized water. Outrageously false claim. The rest of the toilet seems to work as advertised.

We plan on installing this toilet in an RV with a broken toilet that appears to have been made of some type of plastic (?). This toilet should hold up, since it looks and feels like a normal home toilet bowl without the tank.Everything for installation appears to be included.The toilet includes a macerator pump and a flush pump, so there are no more worries about solids clogging the holding tank or discharge hose like happens with a gravity flush pump system.The price is steep ($598 at the time of this review), but it's in line with other similar macerator equipped toilets. And it's much less expensive than the cost associated with clean-up and repair of a cheap OEM RV toilet when it gets clogged, cracks, and leaks!
