UPDATE: With light and infrequent use (still on the 1st battery charge) the pruner stopped working at 10 months. It "blinked/buzzed" an error message saying the control board was bad and to return it to an authorized dealer for repair. Trouble is, the warranty is blank as to coverage AND although I am in a major city, there is no such thing as an authorized dealer for this Chinese brand. It cannot be easily taken apart to see of the circuit board is cracked or has a loose wire. Therefore, I am changing the 5-star rating to 1-star.This pruner advertises over a 1-inch cut. It does that "like butter" --- even with hard wood. After hours of work, I'm still on my first battery (it comes with 2). I like the safety features of a power switch and a double-trigger press to unlock the mechanism. It re-locks without use after a few minutes. The blade still operates like new, but can be replaced easily. Warning: You really need to pay attention to what you're doing as this device is powerful and very fast and can chop off a finger before you even realize it if you don't pay attention to placement. The included carrying case holds the pruner, both batteries, the charger and the instructions. It's handy and has latches that are actually hinged instead of just flexible plastic (which breaks over time). However, the main hinge is plastic. Still, great device and accessories for the price.

I really like these pruning shears and I have no real complaints, but the max opening is too small. I will keep these as they are very handy and I didn't check the max opening before purchase. I will get another pruner with a larger capacity for slightly larger limbs that this one won't cut.

These pruners work very well and have a long battery life. They are lightweight and will cut branches in excess of 1" in Diameter. Great for the water sprouts on apple trees.

I purchased this pruner because I’m older and the strength in my hands isn’t what it used to be. Using regular pruners where I had to squeeze over and over hurt my hands. And having to squeeze harder for thicker branches was no fun. The first time I used this pruner I couldn’t believe my eyes. The battery provides the power. The razor sheep blades provide ease. And all I had to do was pull the trigger. Just one finger. The first time was a big job. I worked for hours. And my hand didn’t hurt!! Plus, the pruner comes with two rechargeable batteries and the charger so you you don’t have to stop while the battery charges. Just place it on the charger and continue with the other battery. Very efficient. It all comes in a handy hard plastic carrying case. So glad I purchased this pruner. I recommend it to anyone, not just old folks like me!

The unit was really nice. Came in heavy duty carry case. Everything looks good until I went to attach the battery. It was too big for the pruning shears. Contacted customer support, and they were prompt to reply, I had to send them a video showing that it didn’t fit. Then they wanted me to make adjustments to the unit. I said no this is their job to fix their problem. They were supposed to send me another battery, but never follow through. 👎👎

After several months on the shelf, I picked it up to do some cutting and the battery was still fully charged. It is so easy to use, lightweight, and cuts through some thick tough stuff as if it was butter. One of my best purchases.
