I bought this the trimming shears for pruning my front yard bushes. They get a little ungangly each season. The shears accepted my Makita batteries, as advertised. I only buy Makita tools so I was suspicious that it would meet their quality. But it does. Its blades are sharp and the motor is strong. Be careful using it and keep away from children. It is cheaper than a Makita branded tool. It gets the job I need it for done so I recommend it.

I love how light weight and easy this is to use. I use this to trim some of my plants and branches and this makes it so much easier. No having to squeeze handles together anymore, easy on the hands. Very sharp and cuts different size branches. Hold in button to close for safety when storing. Just add battery to use.

Quite a powerful little tool. Very impressed with how thick it can cut. Easy to use once you get used to the safety features. I'm only surprised because normally after-market or cheaper Chinese brands are usually rubbish. I've only had it about a month but so far so good. I attach a Makita 4Ah battery it it barely dropped much charge after a good half hour use. Certainly saves my hand/wrist from fatiguing. Happy with the price also.

Time will tell re reliability but this is a game changer for anyone who hates pruning (like me). Saves a heap of time and makes super clean cuts. I already had Makita batteries and even the smaller capacity ones seem to last ages. Pair it with an extension pole (separately available from another seller) and you can lop taller trees with ease.

The shears are easy to use and cut very well. They cut the limb sizes I'd expect from pruning shears, and even a little larger. The cut is strong (watch out for your fingers!) and makes pruning quick. There's an option to lock the shears closed for safety, which I appreciate. The handle and trigger are well designed and comfortable. This worked perfectly with my Makita battery.

Great for cutting rose bushes or getting the little suckers off the tree trunk. Works perfectly with my Makita battery. I used it on a shrub I gave and it had no problems easily and cleanly cutting through about a 3/4 inch diameter branch. So much easier than the manual hand snips. Just be careful to keep anything away from the business end of this thing. It cuts quickly and with plenty of force. Easy to use and maneuver around in shrubbery and lightweight
