My dad when he first saw this, was very dismissive of this tool. He thought it was weird and didn't see the point. However, he changed his mind about it after using it a few times and realizing that it worked quickly, and eliminated the blisters on the heel of your hand after snipping too many branches. It has been used on everything from cottonwood branches to snowball bushes to lilacs, and it continues to work nicely. It is a scissors style cutter, and claims to cut up to about 1.2 inches. Seems to have no problems there. It is easy to handle with one hand, and it does come withe multi-tool for adjustments, as well as a whetstone for sharpening.The product itself comes with two rechargeable Dewalt clone batteries, which is nice as it fits a number of other chinese made power tools we have, as well as the dewalt screwdriver. I love battery compatibility. Since it comes with two, you aren't likely to run out of power before you run out of patience with trimming branches.It seems well-made enough, but no one is going to mistake these kind of tools for Milwaukee or Makita tools. They are not professional grade, and inexpensively made with older plans, no doubt, but they work just fine for light duty applications. Hard to go wrong at this price. If there was anything that I didn't like, it is the thin trigger. I can see that getting broken, and would have preferred the deep trigger that goes all the way into the trigger.

I like these pruning shears. They have helped my sore hands so much. I can prune my trees and shrubs again without help.They're super easy to use and the battery life is very good. The case helps keep everything together.

Works really good cut though a shrub I been using hand hold clappers on that made it tough to cut but these clappers was a breeze to use and did the job I needed done come with two battery packs and not heavy

Jaws won't close completely starts to close but opens back up without cutting through the half inch branches. Think twice before wasting your time and money
