This loom looks good, and it's pretty easy to cut to length. But for me...it was also unusable.I have a 1/2" version of chromed wire loom, which after many years is not looking that good. So I ordered this, thinking I would just put it over the existing loom. That didn't work well, so I took the old loom off and started over.There is absolutely no way I could separate this split-loom anywhere near far enough to get my insulated wire bundle inside. It's very difficult to hold it open, or force it into place. I'm only trying to cover about a 12" length on each side of my T-Bucket (headlight harnesses). The harnesses are obviously less than a 1/2", since the old 1/2" loom was fine.I finally gave up and grabbed the 1/2" loom. It presses into place pretty easily, so I have concluded it's not me, it's this 1" loom.If you can pull your wires through before connecting them, this will work. If you can use a loom-splitter and run the wires into this loom, it will work. But it's very difficult to just press, or force into place.

Just what I needed to protect a vulnerable electrical harness on my car from excessive header heat. It looks super cool, can be trimmed with scissors, has a longitudinal slit for easy installation and shouldn't drip like my original polyethylene conduit! (I did and still do have some backup manifold wrap around the electrical harness to protect it)I ordered it on Thursday Jan 26, with a target delivery date of Feb 7. It arrived the following Monday, Jan 29. Now that's awesome!

We bought these to protect cables, chargers, power cords from our free range house bunny. Haven't lost a single cord since we applied to all the loose cables and cords. But it does take at least two lengths to completely cover any power cord, Sometimes more if the cord is really long. It can also be a bit tricky to figure out how to get the cord through the slit, esp. if you have arthritis, but I am so happy to find something to protect not only the silly bunny, but all the electrically powered "stuff" in his area of the house.
