Strangest sustain pedal ever. Works the opposite of how a sustain pedal is supposed to work. Plugged in without pressing, all keys sustain. Press pedal, the sustain stops. Impossible.

First of all this is not much of a sustain pedal, more like a single mouse button inside a box you can step on, only it's about as sturdy as one too... the plastic is so cheep and light you defiantly may shatter it by its intended use. I purchased this along side a Nektar np-1 ($15) at the time and that is nice solid metal box with a smooth feel you would want from a piano sustain pedal, however I bought these to use as a midi button to start my loopers so all I really need in this case is a mouse button I can hit with my foot. I plugged them both into my apc40 and mapped them to trigger the main button on the looper, the Nektar works every time but this little guy triggers launch or record of whatever clip is selected instead of whatever I mapped it to, tried other random mappings and no matter what its chained to still just launch or record selected clip slot...so to simplify you can not midi map this controller and is totally useless for my purposes, it would also make a hirable sustain pedal if it even works for that... don't waste your money just buy one of the many reputable music brand they are only $15-$25 for a really good product instead.
