How to Install Eliminator Prop Nut for Min-Kota ?
Step 1
- Remove your existing prop nut and washer.
Step 2
- Clean the installation area.
Step 3
- Install the prop. Hand-tighten the Eliminator so that it is firmly pressed against the face of the prop.
Step 4
- There is a gasket on the back of the Eliminator that will expand in time, so be sure to not overtighten.

this part is not made for minnkota 30-7- lbs with 5/16-24 propshaftthis one have a 3/8 -24 prop shaft hole

fit perfect on my trolling motor. I go through a lot of weeds and they get caught up inside behind the prop this device makes it so easy to remove the prop and clean everything out. I’m loving it. Highly recommended.

While the specifications state that it works with 30 to 70 lb MinnKota motors, it did not work with my MinnKota 55lb Terrova as the threads in the nut were larger than the shaft on my motor. The 12v motors (Terrova, Traxxis, etc) in this power range all use a 5/16"-24 thread with the weedless wedge 2 props and the nut appears to be for a 3/8"-24 or larger thread. Had to return as it would not work on my Terrova that I bought it for, and couldn't even use it on my Traxxis. Disappointed!

Looks good, sounds good, reduces vibration slightly. Remember to tighten finger tight.. and not overtighten as you can bend the washer and compress it on the shaft rod

Had to return it as it didn't fit, thread hole was too big to screw on my motor shaft. This is my fault as the motor is a 30lb thrust, not 35lb, and I didn't think it would be that much of an issue. Beyond that the piece looked nice and appeared well machined and I really wish I could have tried it out.

It helped with some vibration, didn't completely fix it. Much easier to remove my prop to clean weeds, which is awesome. For the price, I would definitely buy again.
