How to install it ?
- Cut an 52mm (2 1/16") hole in the panel and allow a clearance of 70mm (2 3/4”) behind the panel to fit the gauge.
- Put the gauge in the hole.
- Using M4 nut and C type bracket to seal up the gauge.
How to connect wires ?
Red wire --- Power Positive.
Orange wire (backlight) --- Power Positive.
Blue wire --- Power Negative.
Please note: Hour meter can be connected to 12VDC and 24VDC power directly.

I purchased this item to replace the hrs meter on a Toro 425 Dingo. I tried two other brands, both failed within .5 and 1.25 hrs, this meter is still going strong. I do wish it was a little brighter during the day which is why I gave it 4 stars. Since the photo it has been adjusted to the actual 458 hrs ( connected it to a 12v marine battery) and still seems to be pretty accurate +/- around a minute per hour, which is fine for my purpose vs the cost of the Toro replacement, which I never tested for accuracy. my application did require slight grinding of a flat area in the opening of the dingo panel.

Worked great till it rained, glass had water in it. Now 3 months gone by and water zeroed out the hours. Buy something else

Was worried about the quality and how it would stand up to saltwater but they have been great. After a month and several trips the units are holding up fine and working as they should. Will come back and update if they show signs of not being watertight or begin to rust.

Installed on boat. Ran the meter up to known engine time using 12V source prior to install. Note cutout requires 2 1/16 hole saw which can be found on Amazon, but difficult to locate at typical DIY store. So far so good

Installed this in my boat. It was easy to install (just a few wires to hook up) and seems to be keep accurate time.
