I ordered this pattern so I could make a birthday gift for someone who loves wiener dogs, it looks very easy to make, and the pattern is. Looks like it’s gonna be well explained nice photograph. It should be very easy to make. I’m looking forward to getting my fabric and making this quilt. I love the option of putting glasses on one or two or however, many of the dogs you want to

I love Elizabeth Hartman patterns. Lots of small pieces, but patterns are well written and all of the quilts I have seen from her patterns have been loved by those who receive them.

Elizabeth Hartman designs some very fun looking quilt patterns, but be aware that they all have a lot of very small pieces. If you don't have the skill/patience to work with 1-inch square pieces of fabric, don't use these patterns. I have now made the dogs in sweaters and the sleepy sloth. I also bought the Bjorn bear pattern, but haven't made it yet. All of her patterns are written with excellent illustrations and very clear directions. However, not being a fan of tiny pieces, if I had realized how many there were before I bought the patterns, I would have chosen to make something else. As it is, I will make each of patterns for one quilt only, and then rehome the patterns. With the dogs in sweaters pattern, I found it helpful to make three blocks at a time, chaining the pieces for three dogs at a time, because the rows alternate which direction the dogs face, which affects how you join certain pieces. For both patterns I also found it helpful to have a different container for each of the pieces that were the same for all the blocks and label the container with that piece's letter name (all of piece A in one container, all of piece B in another container, and so on). It took up a lot of counter space, but it was the best way for me to not get confused about which piece was which.

I'm making the quilt. The dogs are precious, but it is very labor intensive. The large quilt has almost 500 pieces, including 150 1" by 1" squares
