The floss arrived already spun onto the little cards which I was so happy about. There's not a ton of each color but there's enough for a bunch of projects. Very slippery, and doesn't like to stay together on the ends but that's not a dealbreaker for me.

I used this thread to cross-stitch on a Christmas stocking. It was terrible to thread because it kept coming unraveled. However, once I was finished with the work, it turned out just gorgeous.I would advise anyone using it for embroidery or cross stitch to use a needle with a larger eye if you can, and continue to "unwind" the thread or it will wind around itself and cause knots. I wasted a lot of thread because of this problem, but I am quite happy with the final results.
