Installed on my anycubic mega s and I print 24 7 the top insert for the bowden tube failed and is not interchangeable and have only been using it for a few weeks so nice waiste of money

When I first installed this extruder on my CR6-SE, it appeared to be a good upgrade. But trying to tune the printer with literally no data, has proven this extruder lacks any information on how to set pressure advance for any slicer on the market. This thing either under extrudes or over extrudes and there is not one shred of information anywhere on how to adjust either CURA or SuperSlicer, both highly used tools in the 3D printing world. To say this is frustrating would be an understatement and it shows the company who makes it, may never have setup the unit to actually print, but rather to see if it would simply fit.Save your money and buy a brand name extruder rather than a piece of Chinese garbage.

Bowden tubing has been a nightmare since the day I got my Ender 3. This kit has resolved so many of my issues with the machine.

The injection molded housing was crooked and when tightened the large gear became stuck.At first I thought the plastic gear was binding on the housing, so I got out an exacto knife and made this item unreturnable. When that did not work, I tried belt sanding some of the high points on the housing down to make the housing stay flat. But the entire housing was warped beyond modification.By attempting to do what I thought would be an easy fix, I have made this item unreturnable. Lost my money and more importantly, MY TIME! Really, is it that hard to properly injection mold something?

I'm not sure if I'll have the problem that other dual-extruders have where the gear grinds into the aluminum. It comes with a washer, but there's no space to fit it. The gear *is* beveled, so hopefully that will protect/reduce wear, but only time will tell.The other point to note is that this is about 10mm taller than the stock extruder mechanism. This means that you cannot add a regular top Z-axis lead screw mount without losing some maximum print height. I ended up printing my own top mount that attaches to the top of the 2020 cross-bar, to get that extra height back. Also note that the filament inlet is also higher on this than the stock one, so if you have a filament guide, it will probably be too low with this.All in all it's a nice unit, apart from the (possible) gear wear, it looks to last a long time and work very well. Note: as others mentioned, when you install this, you'll need to increase the steps/mm on your Ender control panel settings!

Pros:- Looks super slick- Easy installation, essentially no assembly. Screwed into my existing couplerCons:- Plastic leaver grinds against tension screw, causing an awful scraping sound- Very right clearance between Z screw and the extruder. May touch if your Z bar wobbles.- Most dual gear extruders do not allow you to have a crank knob but allow you to see the turning axle. This extruder prevents you from seeing anything at all (I usually feel the filament as it enters the extruder to see if it's moving. A V2 of this would benefit from a little acrylic window)
