So… I didn’t use this for pin striping, I used it for tool box trim. Works pretty good!The tape seems decently thick. Adhesive holds well for my application, obviously clean the surface well first. Iv had it on for about a month and a half, so far durability doesn’t seem to be a concern for my setup. Tape is durable enough that it doesn’t seem to have issues with touch, oil, grease and grime. It is textured, so don’t get it too grimy. Tape is easy to use, just cut to length and apply. Color is black and dark gray, as it’s carbon fiber. Appearance wise or does look like carbon fiber- no flat printed surface, it’s pretty convincing. Good value for the money, beats splurging on actual CF. Not bad!

Used this product to make draw gaurds for my tool box. Tape is textured and matched real carbon fiber perfectly. Very flexable and has good adherence to almost any clean surface. Wouldn't put it anyplace were high heat would damage it as it only vynal and will melt. But perfect exactly what I needed

*** Update for 01-20-19 ***WOW !!!Update to this review - I took a Yeti cup - cleaned it extremely well - applied dry - one round of tape to get the sizing right - removed the backing & wrapped the cup - had to use a hair dryer to get the tape to conform around the bottom of the cup - but - holy cow - this tape melded perfectly around the bottom & then tightened itself perfectly - ran the cup under cold water to fast cool the tape post hair dryer - finally - applied the C5 Corvette logo which I purchased from West Coast Corvette (love those guyz - great prices & fast delivery) - the logo is actually a sill logo - k - I'll admit - the logo didn't come out perfectly - but - hey - it's close enough for me - I'm MORE impressed by the way the tape wrapped itself around the cup with little to no effort - so - ya - I'd recommend this tape & supplier - really nice stuff ...Nice quality tape - expensive - but MORE worth it ... ordered so-called 3m tape from another supplier here off Amazon - must have been cheap imitation (read fake) 3m tape cause it didn't stick worth a darn - decided to try this brand - glad I did - in the process of giving my 2002 Corvette a split window treatment design - used this tape for the center piece - went on clean & had no air bubble issues - not finished designing the complete outline - but - so far - so good ...
