Please read all Original Crank sensor went out, 97 jeep grand cherokee intermittent stallBought new sensor, Amazon. Jeep runs again drove for a week stalled again, OK must be something else, cap rotor plug PM. Chang coil, run one day stall, change igniswitch run one day stall, change pick up coil, run a day stall, OMG.... OK check spark in and out and fuel pressure... stalled.will not start just cranks lost spark. OK let me start over new lifetime crank sensor brand standard from local auto shop made in Mexico, changed crank sensor starts up has not stalled yet . Day 3 😁 2 months later and return window has closed. BS don't go cheap.

How do you fix a recurring problem? At as minimal cost as possible. This sensor looks as well built as the one it replaced at a fraction of the cost. Does the job it is intended to. I was able to get a spare for when I need to replace again and it didn't hurt my wallet much.

Anyone who has owned a 4.0 Jeep knows the frustration of the crank position sensor. Never mind, it's a pain to replace, but the aftermarket options aren't that great and never last long. don't know if this one will last any longer, but it's definitely cheaper and seems to be the exact same quality. I'm gonna get another one to have on hand. Glad I found this cheaper replacement.
