The "Fixirons Generic Torque Converter Motor Riser Mount Plate" is an essential piece to add a bigger torque convertor or reverse set up to a go kart. In my case, I am using this to raise the predator style engine on my son's KT196 Coleman go kart so that we can add a Chinese reverse gear set up. You have to raise the engine to fit this set up into the drive train. This adapter fits the engine and cart frame great. The steel plate is 1/4" thick and powder coated for durability. It is pre punched and threaded for bolts and includes the mounting hardware. This saves you several hours of fabrication for a super low price. You could not buy the flat steel for the price Amazon sells the finished product for. Just buy it!
