This review is not based on an actual installation as I got it for my ZX400 Ninja since the listing said they fit Ninja 400. The ZX has a different frame from the much more common EX400 and so this couldn't be made to work.I have owned several EX400s and will likely get one again within a few months. I will install these on that future bike and will update the review. But since these items often disappear or sell out shortly after they appear on Amazon I thought I'd review the components for the time being.You get the two metal crash bars and a bag of hardware along with decent instructions. The written instructions contain the typical poor English and I'd advise to watch the video as it shows in broad terms how to install.The bars are hollow of course and I would not call them heavy duty, though they're not flimsy either. I've seen heavy duty crash cages and these are not that. These will provide good protection for tip-overs and very low speed drops. If that's what you're looking to protect from these will work for you.If you're wanting to set up your bike for 'stunting' you'll want something more robust.
